Event and Design Production FAQ’s

Don’t stress, AV quotes will often have you falling off your chair! AV is often much more expense than you think so before you sign your life away with a venue make sure you ask for a preferred supplier AV quote based on your initial program. This might even influence your choice of venue!
It depends. Read the fine print of your venue contract to confirm. If you are able to use a non-preferred supplier you may still incur costs for supervision of equipment use and that can really add up!
Most of the time, no. Often microphones, lecterns and screens are not included in the room hire even if you see them in the room on inspection. Again, just check before signing the agreement to get an estimated quote.
